will i woke up this morrning and took a peek at my BIG GIRL and WOW their were the buds. i no it happens like that just over one night. its just awsome to see the dramatc groth like that. here she is. thanks

SORRY FOR THIS I DON'T NO WHAT HAPPEND. they never loaded like this be4. I WAS GOING TO DELEAT AND START AGAIN BUT MY OPPTION IS GONE. I WONDER WHY
 
Looking nice. How many watts is your HPS? I can't wait to see those babies after about 5 weeks in. They will be bending at their branches from the wieght I hope! +rep

ops sorry forgot 1000wtt hps with a 4ft reflector. it really puts the light to the plant.
 
Sweet. I have a 400 watt MH/HPS conversion but I haven't been able to fire it up yet. Still got a few kinks in my ventilation plans. I can't wait to get some results even half as good as yours. I am using floros now, and I am not treing t knock them but they seem to pale in comparison to HID.

Hows the quality of the smoke though? I have though about going with some big-yield strains but I don't want to compromise on flavour/potency. I can see the benifits of the trade off if one is commercial, but what I am really trying to ask is does it still smokes like some fire?

Dude get the THC BOMB this is a strain crossed from Big Bud And PPP So you have size and potency ideal for the seller in you. I got about 1200 approx for one of my plants and i had 30 of those bastards. Of course i kept some for my self It ll last me a long while

all i can say is i also grow pp/haz, indica, and diesel. i personaly like the indica but every one wants the big bud. yes it has a good head high. big bud is next on my list.
 
dude, i got that same digital temp/humidity device in my grow room... i noticed that if i had it under the light then it would say the temp is 130 when in fact it is only 70... do you have this same problem?
 
no it read right. 89 to 92 degrees right under a 1000wtt hps. but i do run a20"box fan at plant hight right at the light to blow the heat away. i've been running this set up for hell 4 grows now and it works for me.
 
Is your hood cooled by other means than the box fan? I ask because I am having a hard time keeping my 400w cool. Thinking of making a cooltube for it because this ventilation shit is for the birds and I am getting frustrated. Moving 250CFM from outside, through the closent, and then into another room but it still gets like 110-120 2 feet under the lights pretty quickly in there. Do you think a big fan between the canopy and the light will work? Or will I have to suck it up and get a much larger in-line fan for the exhaust?
 
i like the taste of the big bud. i noticed on my 2nd grow i let one plant go 11 weeks tell the triclone were amber and man whwt a couch lock that bud was, and talk about eaten evry thing in sight. thats when i wish the wife was home. i wound not gain as much wait.. LOL
 
no here's a pic of my setup. im sure that many will laugh at my cheap ass setup. yes it may be cheap but it does produce the buds.

dude I got the same box fan in my grow room LOL .... maybe it really does get that hot under the light but i do know for a fact that the whole room DOES NOT get that hot...
