It allows me to filter, which removes some of the plant waxes and improves clarity. Flavor and smell is still good. If you use that on fresh frozen bho, it still ends up smelling as pungent as pinesol. I don't add enough ethanol to winterize, only to wash it out of the evaporation dish and filter.

too black, it either crap material or you burned it, thereis no reason a 6g slab should be that dark. You should winterize and cook at a lowertemp
