About to clip one from a friends plant, whats the best way to make sure it stay healthy and ready to plant in a DWC with cfl's for lighting.

last time i attempted this, it turned yellow and died off

a humidity tent until it's roots grow out helps...maybe some rock wool or dirt...or a diy bubble clone jar

i dont like rockwool so i would go with dirt till its around 4" high and fully rooted, under a humidity dome or a heated propagator , washing the dirt off is messy but not that difficult, i once did it with a 2 1/2' that was a week into flower, no problems(just mess!!)

The best would be to make sure you cut the clone from the mother plant on a 45 degree angle using a clean razor blade. Then dip it in some cloning gel like clonex and then to place it in a rooting plug then put it in a tray with a dome over it making sure that humidity level is very high. You can then place it in a warm dark place for 3 or 4 days then put it under some cfls or a t-5 for 24/7 until it starts to root. After that you can put it in soil or a dwc, areoponic system.Good luck:leaf:
