So I've got a quick question but ill give a little background information first:
1. I'm growing in a small grow cab, with a flower room roughly 5 sq ft and roughly 3 feet high and a seperate mother room about 3 sq ft.
2. I've got 2 150w HPS lamps in the flower room which provides about 60w psf with the light producing about the optimal about of lumens (6000 psf.)
3. I'm doing a perpetual grow and trying to harvest every 2 weeks.
4. I will be doing everything hydro and i will be using small 3 gal buckets (SWC/bubbleplonics). I can perfectly fit 4 of these 3 gal buckets into my flower room.
5. I will be using a short/busy indica strain which looks like its shaping up to be some good ol northern lights.
So there is some back-up info so now on to my question!
-What will be the best system for this set-up and for my goals? I am trying a perpetual harvest lookin to harvest every 2 weeks. Therefore i have 4 seperate 3 gal rez. in my flowering room that are in 8 week cycles, with one 3 gal rez removed (at the end of its flowering period) and a new one introduced with fresh clones every 2 weeks.
So what will be the best way of doing this? I have boiled it down to two options
1- set up small individual scrog screens on each 3 gal bucket and put 2 small plants in each rez. I will use clones and veg for ~~2 weeks (or until i see fit) then put them under the HPS lights and flower for 8 weeks.
OR!
2- set up a SOG and fit 5 small plants ( it can be done! ive seen it!) per 3 gal bucket and just grow a super large top cola?
So any feedback would be appreciated. long time toker/ short time grower so still new to this stuff so any advice would be good. thanks
