Blueberry by dutch passion back in 2002. But that old school bb is gone.
Best sativa cross would be a random freebie from attitude back in 2010, critical jack herer by delicious seeds. The high was the best Ive ever had, uplifting, no burn out, anti anxiety and great raspberry type flavor.
I tried growing both strains again several time but never found similar phenos again. Wish I had both those cuts back!

you tried 2nd generations blueberry stuff? I really want to try his blueberry x candyland. But I think I heard that even DJ shorts blueberry isnt what it used to be.
A couple of years ago I was growing out GG#4 X LBL (Baddawg). I also had a northern skunk from peak seeds that I was reversing. Mid grow (for reasons) I had to move my grow. During the process my GG/LBL was contaminated by the northern skunk, so I ended up with a shit ton of GG/LBL X Northern Skunk fem seeds. Near the end of last year I grew out 4. 3 had the gg chem smell, 1 had a citrus smell. I was disappointed with the citrus smell. It is rare I have had citrus type plants that I thought was very good. Near the end of flower, the smell was extremely strong solid orange. Like ripping an orange in half and all the juice and peel and fruit squishing together. After I cured it, not only did it keep that smell, the taste was exactly the same. But the buzz... it was fantastic. It cut through any and everything and ripped you. Not stoned, not high, but ripped. A perfect combination of the two... Unfortunately I didnt take a clone, or even expect it to be good enough to be worthy of taking a clone and chances of finding that perfect combination of smell/taste/buzz again is going to be very low, even with the hundreds of seeds I still have from the cross.

Similar situation myself. I finished some sour mandarina, and the one plant that grew like a male(thick long stems wide internode and single cola) smelled pretty greasy, meat and orange pepper. By far the best orange plant I've smoked to date, immediate happy smile plastering buzz that develops all over the body, stuff resoundingly was the favorite out of the batch. The entire grow was contaminated by a few 'jungle cookies' going Herm. I'm tempted to grow the 24 seeds I've found and kill any cookie dom Plants.

No, Jd ruined me from ever giving the short family a dime.
Plus once I seen the plants he was growing I could literally see that zero of his f13s or whatever looked anything like my old blueberry. And not to sound like a dick but I have yet to see a pic of the new berry or their other stuff that impresses me.
Im one of the people that believes Dj lost the parent plants and that old school stuff is super rare to find.

ooo, you got any juicy stories? And yeah, that sounds in line with what I've heard. also f13 sounds like it could be so far removed from the parents....but who knows. thats beyond my knowledge of this plant. I wish I had some old blueberry stuff. I remember smoking some blueberry yum yum probably 10-12 years ago now, it tasted straight like a blueberry cereal. I have yet to find anything like it again although I'm always trying to.

Closest I found to old school was blueberry jam by Dr atomic back In 2009 and it was blueberry sourced from Dutch passion. I wonder how close these genetics are to the original blueberry jam or if they've been inbred too, beyond recognition. This was the first strain I ever grew. It's still for sale at hempdepot, I probably will snag 2-4 packs for the fall.

Not too juicy but Jd did start a thread here on riu a few years ago and was a total dick weed. Then started off with the "people owe me something because my dad hit gold with one strain."
Just rubbed me the wrong way is all. I do wish people best of luck with their new stuff but Ill pass.

I love G13 Labs White Widow, I got a freebie seed, and ran that plant for over 4 years. I still miss it.
Also C99 from female seeds was great. Real fruity, great sativa high and fast finishing for a sativa. Totally mature and delicious in under 10 weeks.

#1 Dinafem Blue cheese - best smelling/tasting weed ever. Easy gpw.
#2 Mephisto ripley og - royally fucked the harvest of that plant 2 weeks in, but it didnt seem to shake the quality one bit. Really shook my doubts about autos not being high in thc.
