Best strain for first time indoor grow- 250w hps

I have an outdoor guerilla grow going already but I'm thinking about starting my first indoor. What would be the best overall strain for a first time indoor grow. Something average price, average difficulty, average yield, average potency, average flowering period, etc. Low odor would be good too but isn't a must.

I have a 250w HPS and plenty of room. This is a little unexpected but a friend of mine gave me an awesome deal on the light so I want to start and indoor grow too. I know a little about indoor growing since I start my plants indoors for about 3-4 week before I move them outside, just don't know too much about indoor strains.

I ordered my outdoors from Attitude, but thinking about mixing it up and getting from Nirvana this time. I narrowed it down to 3 strains:

Northern Lights
Bubblicious
White Widow

Probably going to grow all 5 out of a feminized pack.

Any suggestions outside of these 3 strains would be cool too!
 
All three of those strains are fire but I wouldnt say that there the lesser complicated strain to grow or big yielders. Look into purple kush. If you get the real deal PK it stays short and yields like a mother fucker and its hard to fuck it up. also it is an 8 week strain thats all I grow. I would only grow 2 plants under a 250 watt

Where do you get that at? Does Attitude carry it?

I have limited experience with quality genetics, but I've heard MANY times on this site that Northern Lights is a VERY easy strain to grow. I myself have some white widow seeds from Green House, but I'm sitting on those for a while until I grow out my Lemon Skunk. :hump:

Really I was thinking 4-5 plants would probably be ok under the 250w, but now that I did a little research I think I will take your advice and only grow 2.

I have a single low girl autoflower I've been meaning to try out. Maybe I'll do 2 regular plants and sneak the low girl in with it. That way I'll have some bud sooner. Does that sound reasonable? I read they say a good rule of thumb is 100w per plant.
 
Mk Ultra, i have one going right now and its stayed pretty short and stocky with super dense buds and a low oder. Peep my sig if you wanna see pics

Nice! Do you have a ballast that can take both the hps and mh bulb? I see they make mh conversion bulbs for hps ballasts but they are like $50. I'd probably spring for one if it makes that much of a difference during veg.
 
I just finished Nirvana Northern Light under a 250w agrosun gold. It grew in a 2.5 litre pot with Fox Farm Ocean Forest and BC nutes. It is in the jar curing now and I keep taking samples and it is delicious and gets me toasted. I have been smoking Short Rider which was ok but the Northern Light blows it away.

How many northern lights plants did you grow under your 250w? Just one?

Man I keep hearing about these FoxFarm products. I'd like to try the soil but there isn't anyone around here that sells it. I see it online for $10 a bag but the shipping is an extra $20! Maybe I'll try the nutes, but even they are expensive.
 
Age old gold nutrients is hella cheap and shits all over fox farm nutrients in my opinion been using it for 5 years. before that I tryed advanced and fox farm
 
Any suggestions? Northern Lights is a classic and hear the Nirvana strain is pretty good, but Bubblelicious and White Widow are tempting. Hear Ice is pretty good too.
