Best setup for my Grow? Comment please

Hey guys...

I would like to start by saying im an intermediate grower, been growing 3 plants at a time in a closet for a year know and have done hours and hours of research. I am pretty sure what system I am going to build for the next grow room build but I would like to hear some comments and suggestions from the pros out there.

THE PLAN:

My buddy lives out in the country and we are planning to build a grow shed outside his house. Grow shed size will be about 14 ft. by 12 ft. It will have everything needed built in; ( Air conditioners, heaters, exhaust fans, light movers, floor drains, lighting electrical).

We will be starting with 12 plants in each chamber with the possibility of 24 plants in each chamber further down the road. I'd like to run 3 chambers, each with a 3-4 week cycle and a 9-12 week total grow time for each plant.

I'd like to pull 2-3 ounces per plant and harvest once a month.

We will run 1) 1000 watt light per 12 plants.


I just have a couple questions for the seasoned vets out there.

1) What type of grow system would best suit my needs here? soil,aero,or hydro?

2) What strains would be good plants with big buds and semi quick flowering times?

3) Indica or Sativa?

Please add any comments on how to make this grow room build really successful as I will be recording every step of the way on this forum.

I'd stick with dirt or promix to start. When scaling up this rapidly, many new problems will arise at an alarming rate! Did for me anyway. Once you become competent at managing a large multi-room set up, then think about moving on to more complicated hydro set ups.
The learning curve is steep, but, with perseverance and smoking lots of good bud, you should be able to pull it off. Just don't expect to be super grower right away.
Strains with more Indica will work best here. They're smaller and faster. Ideal for commercial production. They veg slowly though. Expect 5-6 weeks, hydro will be a little faster.
Make sure this shed is well insulated and cooled. Attracts less attention for prying eyes in the sky

My plan was to run an aero setup just because of the speedy growth rate. Ive done so much research on how im gonna build it and eveything and I know it is a challenge keeping everything in order but I figure as long as I keep my ppm and ph where it should be, then I wont have much difficulty with it. My plan was to go with pvc pipe for my aero setup. Ive seen a lot of systems set up that way and it seems to be working.

What do you think about this idea? good or bad?

Im pretty mechanically skilled and have good problem solving thats why im confident I can do an aero setup but if you think that everyone runs into major problems feel free to let me know.

You might want to run a small scale aero a few times first. These systems are quite delicate and things can go to hell in a heartbeat. It's a bitch to lose a large crop overnight. Once you have it dialed in, the production can be significant.
I know "walk before you can run" is not what you want to hear when you're planning a large grow, but it can save you a lot of time and pain in the ass. You can always run dirt at the same time you're learning aero.

well i would go for it ! your buddy is very kind ! even at a 12 foot by 14 foot shead would be ok for even 25 plants !

The best pot i can get right now is grown aero by a master grower it is phenominal ! He grows ak-48 it has the shortest flower time and he also does fucking incredible . Both have the most red hairs and crystal i have ever seen .

The second best i can get is soil organic .THis tastes better than the aero . but doesnt look as good .
