I used fox farms for my last grow and honestly didnt like the outcome. I found it very easy to burn your plants with foxfarm and i didnt see an amazing outcome using them. I have now switched over to Advanced nutrients and love it. They are making my plants look so sexy and im growing big buddah blue cheese which is very sensitive to nutes and have not come close to burning my plants once. Plus they say advanced nutrients is Ph Friendly meaning it wont change you Ph levels once added. Just my opinion but out of 5 grows with 3 different nutes Advanced nutrients is by far my favorite and done the best for my ladies

If your in soil, go with bio canna or bio bizz, other nutrients are not organic so theres no point using soil with any other nutrient, you might as well go hydro.

Thanks for the replys guys, Just a note, I'm going to be growing in soil, does this change anything?

soil is without a doubt the slowest growing medium, it will never yield as well as hydro, however organic is the best tasting by a long way.

if your in soil then you have to use organic, otherwise you might as well go hydro as put chemical nutes into soil.

biobizz or bio canna

I'm very interested in this organic option, are these products made by the same company? are they for different periods of the plants life? Would one of the products be enough to sustain a plant all through its life?

Cheers

Those are not the only organic nutes dude lol. There are tons of organic nutes. Just becasue your growing in soil doesnt mean you have to use organic either i dont see why u say if you dont use organic in soil you might as well do hydro. That statement doesnt make sense to me. Anyway there are lots of good nutes out there for soil. I would suggest either advanced nutirents or technoflora there is a thing called the kit for success by technoflora and it includes everything you ned plus some good additives. Check it out Goodluck

why accept slower growth from soil instead of hydroponics if your not getting the full benefit of soil i.e. organic, I didn't say you can't use it, i just said its crazy to. Advance nutes are crap, spread out across too many bottles to achieve what others do in a couple of bottles. Technoflora doesn't appear to be organic either.

If your not bothered about organic goodness, then why accpet lower yields and slower growth from soil.

The whole point of doing soil

You cant do organic in hydroponics?? Why are you saying the only reason for soil is for organic use? Hydroponics yes does turn out a better product and a higher yeild but soil is also alot easier if this is his first grow or he is still really new i would suggest soil to him. Hydro is not crazy difficult but it is alot more involved making sure the ph is balanced 2 times a day checking the ppm to make sure nutes are not to high or low. Making sure the res doesnt go over 70 degress, Root rot is alot easier to get when doing hydro, there are a bunch of factors people like to do soil even though the yeild and product will be less then hydro. I def agree he should do hydro if he knows what he is doing but from the question he is asking i would imagine this is probly his first real grow or his first grow in general and soil would be better for him to get the hang of things and learn how to read his plants. Either way i use Advanced nutrietns and they have 10000 different bottles but im only using 3 things from them and one of them is a 2 part solution so thats 2 of the 3 bottles. Either way you there are alot of good things out there you can get. Hope i was somewhat helpful in my post and im not trying to sit here and argue a point everyone has there own opinions but i use advanced nutrients for my hydro and love it and for my first soil grow i used the technoflora kit for success which comes with like 8 different nutes and additives it gives you a feeding schedule to follow and makes it super easy and the product came out stinky sticky and good!! I would suggest using that kit for success especially if its your first grow. There are some nutes out there that are better of course but this kit tells you exactly how much to put in at exactly what times and explains what they all do its a very easy kit and the results are impressive as well

Advanced Nutrients if you can get them.

Not sure if you can get that shipped to the UK from the Internet. I think so, but eh, I'm not over there.

They do have products for soil too, so you're covered there.

good luck!:peace:
