This is the most powerful light on the market I've been able to find. Might be a little too much for a 4 x 4 but with the proper ventilation...

You have to walk the cup with autos or the spectrum is all jacked up. Most noob growers don't know how to walk the cup, so they dis Tig.

Personally I think led's suck. I replaced all of the incandescent bulbs in my kitchen, bath and laundry room because the writing on packages said the led bulbs I purchased are equal to each incandescent. I call bullshit and I'm going back to the real 100, 75 and 60 watters!

I imagine I'll bring it home and my wife "what's happen to the electricity bill?"
I'll tell her "don't worry, next month will have 20 killo to smoke"

I'd rather have a house built by a design from an architect than some carpenter. There is more than hammering boards together with nails.
If your carpenter can only hammer some boards together it sounds like you found him hanging outside homedepot and paid him 5 bucks an hour for day labor. This is coming from a carpenter.

Well thats fine because im not following what leds are saying obout outyeilding evetyone and saving loads on electricity at the same time, ive given my reasons and this wasnt a plant posting thread realky so ill guess most of you have egotistical issues.... :-)
Ill let you know in like 8 weeks what gram per watt I pull in 8 weeks or so. I built the lights, my friend is the one with grow knowledge and the only thing we switched was lights(he ran HPS). Growing hydro same as before and he had 6 1000watters and now we have 4 panels 4feet x 4feet running about 750watts total each= 3000watts. Many that switched to LED and know there shit have achieved over 2grams a watt(which I am aiming for but doubt I reach) and I'm guessing it's strain specific(added that so you don't have to call me out on that one).
As far as Gavita- if they are the shit why is the company dumping their mneys towards LED. Here's a quote from their site "Now that affordable solutions with high efficiencies of 2.6 μmol s-1 per Watt and higher are available; Gavita has entered the LED arena."

Incandescents light my house better than the equivelant of cob leds, much better spread and no dark corners.....

Your right my eyes dont lie there is easily more light watt for watt you'd have to be blind not to see that :-)

I don't think i can get any more of an even spread over a 10' x 10' area. Very little shadowing going on here, Click on the image so you can enlarge it and look at the container in the back left, look at the white pipes coming out and there isn't a shadow underneath it.

Now it's an incandescent light bash session? Incandescent light is fine if your lighting a room. It works and has done so for over a hundred years.
