you need to get the lamp that fits your system's ballast...which is either a halide or an hps. (unless it's a switchable that will run both lamps)

should say on the ballast which one it is...or give a code like S51....

good luck

you can stare at it all day long in my opinion, you still probably will never see bug......but im not an expert.

just for info though it takes about 8 weeks to fully bud a plant not counting veg time.

HPS light kills half your photosynthesis and chlorophyll production. Don't waste the energy, HPS light couldnt even light a solar panel. If the Sun had been HPS light, you'd be a slug right now instead of a human being. Plants all want full spectrum light, period. Millions of years of evolution cant be wrong.

Bloodshotiz.......I told you HPS light destroys plants, and kills their photosynthesis, and your reply was "He didnt ask if an indoor light was comparable to the sun." Think about that a second, HPS light is killing half your photosynthesis and chlorophyll!!!!! You're better off with an MH light, at least its 4k and more full spectrum. Plants have to have red light and blue light to make the basics of photosynthesis, look it up on wikpedia if you don't believe me. It's called Photosystem 1 and Photosystem 2 located in the thylakoid membranes in the light harvesting complexes in the leaf.

Have fun...quit telling people HPS light is good for anything but your EZ bake ovens.
