best LED lights

Hello folks, very old member here. Just returning to the scene after many years out of the game. Due to the end of prohibition in Canada.

I am preparing a grow set up, and was wondering what the preferred brands of LED lights are? I don't want cheap junk ones. Thanks in advance for the advice.

We are allowed to grow 4 plants, and I am looking to maximize yield. I was thinking 4 200W LEDs, but just wondering about light spectrum, brands, things to look for, and avoid.

Thanks!

Avoid lights that have lots of blue and red diodes. Avoid lights called for example "1200w grow light only using 260w"

Pretty much most of the LEDs on the market as a whole are not great but that's just because of the sheer volume of junk lights out there.
There are some great LEDs and some great companies. Horticultural lighting group and Timber grow lights are good.
But for you been in Canada I believe you want to be looking at BCblondes

https://www.bcblondes.com/

You may notice they are white lights, that's pretty much what we use with LEDs these days!

There is also the option of building your own, which is pretty common and not to difficult. If your interested in that I can shout out a few members and point you to some websites.

Best of luck you lucky legal grower!! :bigjoint:

www.amaretechnologies.com

hes a grower, knows what we need

often copied

Been using them for 5 years ZERO issues
I know those lights work good but they are not cheap and are much less effecient than newer stuff $1200 for some cxb3070 cobs thats crazy 4 years ago those were like the 3rd most effecient no legitimate companies copy them. The new Samsung diodes are significantly better and cheaper.

I have been looking at that (not PLC but the others) and I come away completely confused every time.
Really? And your more confident in the light you posted? Go for that one then best way to learn is to waste some money I did the same.
