best hours on and off to find out sex???

should i have the lighting on 12/12 to sex? the back to 16/8???

no dude if you wnt to find out the sex before you flower then take clones and 12/12
those. you can even smoke it early. get a precursor of what they will smoke like

i have lights on 24 hrs a day its about 8 inches tall... how else can i tell if it s a male or female??? ne advice on a proper lighting schedule??

you dont need a seperate light or room for the 12/12 clones, keep them in the same room(after rooting) and cover them with a light proof box. or take them out and put somewhere dark.
if you in ahurry i heard that 10on 14off can show sex quicker. not sure only read it

hey seatle, there is no short cut other than the post on cloning and allowing the mother/father to continue vegitation...

you can induce flowering by going to 24hrs of total dark then into 12/12 for bloom.. this will shave a week or so off waiting...

dude if space isnt too much of a premium, let them all go as long as you can
then 12/12 the lot and then just pick off the males

20hour would prob do
i read that there isnt any significant improvement after that
and 24hrs all the time could stress your plants, they need down time too!
and stress can encourage hemaphrodite tendencies in cannabis.
and other things like mor prone to mould,fungus and parasite atacks

It's just fine to go from 24/0 to 12/12.

If you wanna know the sex, change the lighting schedule to 12/12, or take clones and put them in 12/12.

It'll take about 1.5 weeks to find out using that method. If you wanna know quicker, take the guys advice above me and put them in 24-36 hours of darkness before 12/12.

just like evryone is saying 12/12 when they are atleast a month of age... you should know within a couple weeks what the sex is... then keep em at 12/12 until harvest.. those are the only 2 light schedules i use or have ever used and it works great....
