Just wondering what everyone thinks the best grow lights are?

Has anyone tried LED grow lights?

I use household torches, Ive rigged up 60 1000,000 candle light beauties and get great results. I use alternate red and blue bulbs in each torch to fulfill spectrum 48k requirements.

As I understand it, LED's readiness for the big league isn't yet, but I've never tried them, so?

1000 watts high pressure sodium has the best penetrating light. 600 watts is more efficient. Don't go with LED's, they're not worth the cost....yet.
