Greetings :)

I'm interested in knowing if anyone knows which brand sells the finest NUTRIENT TEA (INCORRECT TITLE) for my organic grow. If anyone could post a link that would be helpful. PLEASE spare me the lecture on how easy is to make or how fast. NOT looking to make it, looking to buying it and just applying to my plants via watering.

Thank You.

defeats the purpose, microbes don't stay alive in an anaerobic bottle.
No lecture, just saying.

what is your goal in doing that?
Reason I say, is that an organic soil media is going to have a bunch of lil critters in there already, from all the organic nutrients, so i'd just water it, as you age it (lightly) and it'll inoculate itself man, if you wanna help it out a lil, add some indigenous humus, if you can find any, just go underneath an old tree, and maybe a gallon sized worth of the humus that is underneath it.

Danm that just killed my mood. The reason i wanted to use compost tea is because starting around first or second week of flowering the leaf start yellowing from defiiency. I understand they naturally Start turning yellow at the end of flowering but the first or second week too soon. Wanted to harvest with 80% of my leafs not 20% from deficiency knowing it should affect the potency.

ahh, you want nutrient teas, not compost tea.
You sure it's from a lack of nutrients as opposed to the wrong ratio?
Or something else?
i'd say maybe 70% of the time that the grower thinks it's a nutrient def, it's not..

Lol...I mean Nutrient Tea sorry ...Honestly speaking, I wouldnt know as of yet about the ratio. Last two grows i didnt really measured every single drop of soil. I only estimated from an eye on of view. My medium were simple. FFOF,Lime,Casting and Perlite. Unlike now, I've a bunch of oher things i'm adding to the mix.

how much lime did you add?
I bet that's what pissed them off

You most likely right. What would you say that tho? I used 10 Tablespon for each 5 gallon air pot.

that's not a shit ton of lime, but it's def. a bit much. i would say 3-6 would have been your range more likely. most people are using crab shell + oyster shell for their liming mix now (it has many other nutrient benefits as well) instead of lime. lots of folks on here say the lime takes way too long to release the Ca and Mg... and there are several forms of "garden lime", "dolomite lime", "lime", lol you get me?

for a nutrient tea, you could try buying individual dried herbs and making your own mix of them and bubble for 24 hrs. i know you said you dont want to make your own, but im not sure of any companies that sell nutrient teas. Boogie Brew makes a compost tea that has a bunch of stuff in it besides the composted materials.

Ffof sucks this year big time I'm so unhappy about it ........plants showing def for me and a bunch of other growers I know using it .......I did some research and found out ff is using new kinds of stuff in there soil and quality control is lacking big time ............

Yea i read some post about using Crab shell + oyster. Sounds to me its gonna be very difflcult finding a well known nutrient tea. I'll just top feed my plants Alfalfa meal.. ect

Wow...That's such a shame to hear. I Still have the FFOF from last year, Unsed, Sealed and Stored. I'll be using that.

be careful with the alfalfa meal. you can make a nutrient tea with that.

and you gotta understand, that a majority of growers are not employing these types of methods to their gardening, so there is no money in it for the nutrient companies. they want to sell the hydroponic bottles and make a bunch of money and keep the growers dependent on them.

cuz FFOF is already ph stabilized (probably with d-lime)
ten tablespoons is a LOT man... a LOT
that's 2/3rds of a cup.
for less than a cubic foot of soil, too much.
the ffof is already ph'ed

even 6 tablespoons is a bit much for a premade soil, maybe if it was pure peat, aeration and humus, but the FFOF is fine to grow right out of the bag.
For the record, I don't add d-lime to anything, I prefer other ways to keep the ph in check, oyster meal, biochar, my compost pile, oyter shells, gypsum, etc.

Perfectly makes sense. Thanks :)
