If I was looking to buy some seeds for a real deal blueberry strain, who has the best genetics? No hermis please, I already have heard of Dutch Passion blueberry hermi problems... Looking for my best options, thanks.

dj short if you can find em

quite liking the sound of this blueberry headband though.. ET

well i have taken the leap and bought 3 DP blueberry, fingers crossed it will go well anyway because i have only smoked proper blueberry once before and it was a delight to smoke.

I have been scared to order the DP blueberry because of the crazy hermi rep it has... Let me know how it grows for ya

I read on riu somewhere sagamartha has good blueberry genentics because dj used to work with em or something, I recently had a dud dj short bb, was one of the few I ever had to not pop but maybe me, and dj short is reg only and pricey, dont know about sagamartha but they do have fem blueberry bud is the name for half of dj short price on single seed center

DJ Shorts is THE original best Blueberry-- there are others that are almost up to par...
We have grown, and Bred with, Blueberry for years-- it can be quite touchy, and if you ever get mites- it will be the 1st plant they attack....

That said- if you keep your environment optimized and the plants protected ahead of time against mites/disease-- they are a wonderful grow...

There are Blueberry crosses that have the flavor/smell but are a bit hardier and less touchy... Blue Moonshine, Blue Hash, Blue Cheese.... There is a long list.....

Just go to "Seedfinder" and go to the "B" section and look at all the "blue" crosses!!

Thanks, I am good in the garden but not without my flAws... Maybe something like Jackberry or blue cheese would be a more suitable choice for me

Gotta tell ya-- one of my FAVES is Blue Cheese-- smaller buds, but decent sized and SOLID! and when she is flushed and kept a little cooler the last 2 weeks (w/lots of carbs) she takes on some of those beautiful blueberry hues-- and when cured--OMG! Open the Jar and you can smell "Blueberry Cheesecake" from across the room! One of my personal faves! ;)

Who's blue cheese would you recommend?

I'm currently growing a strain by Cannaventure called Purple Berry BX2. The Purple Berry is actually a Blueberry indica that has been worked so that it has predominantly purple phenos. Although the one that I am growing is not purple, it does have a blueberry smell to it and it has a nice amount of trichs on her. I don't know who's blueberry Cannaventure used to make his Purple Berry. I do know for sure that he used a Blueberry indica to make it. I have only grown the one, and I am on Day 38 of 12/12 as of today. It is supposed to be a 7-8 week strain, and from the looks of her I can believe that. I haven't had any issues with this strain that I am growing in Fox Farms Ocean Forrest soil under a 400w HPS in my closet. I haven't seen any signs of nanners either. I would have been much happier to have gotten a purple pheno, but I am happy with her still. It looks like it is going to be some pretty good smoke. I will just have to wait and see though.

Blueberry from bcseedking is killer. It's staying in the stable, lol. Doesn't smell or taste like ''muffins'' but real blueberries. If your ever in a grow shop find general hydroponics ''sweet nectar'' blueberry dream additive. Smells and tastes just like it to a tee. Turns purp. if temps. are in the 60s toward the end. Last run didn't get no purp. cause the temp was above that. Havent popped all the beans, this is just the first female tried. She's the fire so just been cloning. Don't know if these results are typical. But for 55$ for 20 beans there's really nothing to lose. Took forever and a day for the order to get there but beans were shipped fast once they got it. Highly recommend! Here's some pics of different gens.
