I am wondering what the best and worst seed banks in the US. I have had not so good experiences and now am a happy customer of JBC seeds. Please, please, remember in your comments to dance around the specifics of payments because of the current federal situation. I'll try to get a vote going.

Still waiting on some I ordered a couple weeks ago from seedsman. First time ordering so idk if it's a normal wait time like I'm just really impatient or it it's taking longer than normal

I ordered some DJ Short gear from Aces Dank Bird Food. The guy got back to me right away about getting paid, then I never got a confirmation email so I started to get worried. I waited about a week and sent him an email and he replied "They were just going to be going out the next morning." They came, and the packaging was good, no freebies. JBC seeds, however, good freebies, I'm thinking must be a sweet spot in the postal grid. because I get them about 56 hours from order (I am not at all exaggerating) 42 hours in transit to arrive. They are on the ball. Some might say their selection is on the smaller side, but the genetics are tops, just research their breeders. Until I have a reason to go elsewhere I'm going to stick with JBC 100%.

Seedsman legit. Dont worry about getting ripped off. It just taking longer due to covid19. They even woll replace bunk beans if you have a major issue. They not gonna replace a whole pack for one bad one, but atleast they do help.

I haven’t heard of some of these companies so thanks for posting about them.
I’m also curious why some people consider freebies a good thing? Call me crazy, but I would prefer them to just lower the price of their seeds, rather than throw extras in that I didn’t specifically order for “free”, so I could just get more of what I do want.

I agree with that. It's because everyone make a killing selling beans. I mean really. They cost almost nothing to make. Also to get the genetics you only gotta buy 1 bean of this or that so maybe 20 bucks total then you could sell your own "cross" for hundreds. Easily get 100 beans out of a plant without effort.

I’ve always thought most of these companies are shady. It’s pretty much impossible to know you actually receive what you were sold without genetic testing. It’s far to easy for them to claim the difference in the plant you grow is just a different pheno of the strain you bought.

I agree they are shady. I feel like a lot are Instagram fakes and pretend they know what they're doing. The really good genetics companies don't post everything they do. The real good seed banks also same thing. They don't post every timr they wipe their azz. If I see someone trying to sound better than they are, or try to sell me something that I'm not even trying to buy and shove it down my throat. Its a scam. Period. I used to see people run scams all day long, I wasn't born yesterday.

you may have already, but if you ever get a chance to listen to the potcast. it has lots of good info on strain history and who did what as far as genetics. There is alot of breeders out there. I have found JBC, although not the biggest selection, has a really good selection of legit breeders with powerful genetics. Hats off to all the breeders who keep their seeds affordable.

The freebies are just a gift, you are getting what you paid for. I don't see how people bitch n moan about paying 10 or 15$ for a seed that you can grow into a QP, half lb or pound plant.. and take unlimited amount of clones off of and breed them. There's not a single thing on Earth that gets a better return on your investment.
