So, that means no beatles, stones, zeppelin, AC/DC, floyd, the who,.......and all the rest..............

not a poll.....per se.....just looking for some bands I haven't thought of.......

There are 2 heavy weights stoners will immediately think of. Which is o.k., but I think we can go deeper than them.

But mainly this is about your opinions....and a discussion thereof....

OK I knew this would come up..... And I totally agree.....I guess Jimi has to be involved cause he influenced everybody....but he was really a one man show....but definitely - on the mount rushmore of american rock - fo sho

probably could add Janis and Dylan.............but are they "bands" I know its stupid.....Dylan was probably the most influential american songwriter bar none...but, is it a "band" - fuckin semantics, i know.

the doors - that was 1 of my pics i didn't want to list from that era..

the other one wasn't as pop, but definitely influenced rock for decades
