Beneficial Bacteria for Ponds/Liquid

I know this is a hot subject right now, but I will clue everyone in on a secret. The pond industry has been keeping ponds clean for a long time and they have known about beneficial bacteria for a long time. So I figured I would give you all a link to a product that costs $10 and will service 5,000 gallons in an 8 ounce bottle. You can research many different products like this for keeping ponds free of all sorts of stuff without harming your plants and actually helping any aquatic plant. So this is not something new and we are all not in some new way of doing things. You just seriously need to expand your horizons away from Hydro stores because most owners of these stores don't have a clue as to how things grow, they just sell products. Here is the link for the Bacteria http://www.thepondoutlet.com/home/t...=48183117795&gclid=CNPNv4jw6bgCFabm7Aod41oABQ

If you want Fungi, then google for either Mykos, Mykogrow or you can use GH Subculture-M.

You can really do all of this pretty cheap!

Enjoy!

I used to keep my res clean with some pre-packaged bacterial mix. Microscopic amount. Then I would add a tiny dilution of molasses to feed microbes. Kept the res very nice and smelled great. I really liked it.

I have used pondzyme for a couple of years now with great success. A one pound jar is $20 and does thousands of gallons, i have multiple 50gal res's and it last about a year. I will look into the liquid though because the one issue i have had is i dont like adding powders or granulars into hydro.
