Since I have now learned my outdoor beauties will not flower or show there sex until auguist, I have a problem. There already like 3 1/2 ft. My fence (and surrounding corn) are only like 6. If these get that damn big can I bend them to keep them low, there real close to eachother though, there's 10 in thsi photo.... Thanks folks....

do a forum search on lst or low stress training.
The plants are actually pretty trainable, just do it in little steps so you don't snap anything off...

Once they hit a certain maturity they should show sex, August is when they will flower but they should show pre-flowers way before then. Mine usually show around the 7th node sometimes later.

I get sorta lost when we talk about nodes....I planted germinated may 11th...when should I show sex?
