Is this normal or should I try to straighten it out? the plant is 10 days old if that helps.

your plant is stretched because its reaching for the light.
I would gently take it out of that red solo cup, and place it in a proper gardening container thats bigger and has proper holes for drainage , tuck the plant in as snug as a bug in a rug, and lower your lights if possible

Ya you should have a cfl just 1" above the seedling.

Transplant and fill the soil all the way up to the cotes. Roots will shoot from the sides. Get a lot of light on them.
