Bending branches to get more buds?

How do I tie down branches of my plants or bend them to where they will have more top buds?

i've seen guys use paper clips or bread ties

im not sure if youre talking about supercropping or lst but i think lst

personaly i don't tie nothing down or up. well i tie my plant to the stake and just let the weight of the buds pull the branches down. it seems to create tumors on my colas. now if they are to heave witch has happend then i will just relife the point of were it will not break off.
