a couple of my bell pepper plants that have a few leaves that have some brown spots. Will take pics tomorrow to add. Anybody know what it may be?

I would assume it's either too little or too much water, lack of certain nutes, disease and/or bugs....A pic will help! :)

my sickly bell pepper. will it infect others? what's wrong with it? i can also see the new growth is quite yellow, does it need nitrogen or something?

I would remove that worst leaf.....and it looks like you have some soil that is not great. I would recommend applying compost tea. Take a few handfulls of bagged compost -mushroom compost is good if it's available to you- and put it in the bottom of a 5 gal bucket. Add 4 gal water. Stir it a few times over 24hrs and apply. You can also make what's called aerated compost tea. I use an aquarium pump + airstone and let it bubble for 3 days. The air bubbles will boost the biological activity of the tea. These fungi and bacteria + the compost will rejuivenate the soil. Always use plain water for the next watering

Wait for results and if the problem persists, it's time to consider the possiblity of disease.....hopefully not

:leaf:

If I find it to be diseased it's being pulled asap, I've got 5 other bell pepper plants so I'm hoping to get atleast 1-4 awesome plants.

I agree. If diseased. Destroy them. That's really the best thing to do

And also, add a couple ounces of blackstrap molasses from the grocery store to your compost tea along with the compost. This will feed the fungi and bacteria- they will have a quick bloom and be really benefitial to your plants - apply to any of your plants!

Thanks, you're a hero. I'm soon to get nutes & compost if available, now molasses to the list. I'm going to have to show you my whole garden and get some advise. haha.

Hey, Rep!......there's one more liquid fert that I can tell you about! It's called liquid seaweed. It's usually not hard to find. It is collected usually off the west coast of England. It has lots of good stuff in it. It can really broaden the scope of your fertizler mix! You could use it by itself and you can add 4-5 ounces per 4 gallon batch of compost tea!

Here's a common brand
