Beginner Transferred plant to Pot growth stopped, stem turning brown leaves drooping and withering

Hello! I have a marijuana plant that started growing in tupperware with holes in my room, I repotted it to a bigger pot and pivoted it outside, I believe I overwatered one day and after that its stem started discoloring and it stop growing completely it's been 3+ weeks since it's had any growth, I've moved it back indoors with a natural / grow light set up of 16 hours (had same outside but with no temp control), and it seems to be dying slower now, however the leaves are still drooped, I had trimmed the previous ones that were near dead. Not sure how to save it, don't have anti fungal or anything, I believe it's root rot from my googling, or the soil mix I made is not giving it the right nutrients (lawn sand/compost) / Any suggestions, would really like to save it since it's my first attempt
