wow thats WAY over priced bro. theres alot better deal on stuff if you buy from ebay or craigslist. normaly you can pick up ballasts and light bulbs and reflectors for under 200 total. i donr see any reason for teh AC fittings. i dont use any. i just attach my ducting to the reflector itself . the tent is a must. i would prefer bendy ducting. your total should be under 600 $

Keep looking, you can definitely get better prices. And if you order all of your supplies from HTGSupply.com, call them on the phone and place the order. That way, if you ask the for a discount since you're spending a lot of money, they will likely help you out somehow (They just took off $5 for a clip-on fan I ordered when I told the it was $5 cheaper at Home Depot.)

thats crazy bro! check craigslist first!! then even amazon.com. I just stared my grow on the 10th and this is what i have (some of it hasn't came in yet)
24x48x60 grow tent - $82 with free shipping
150W HPS light with bulb, craigslist - $100
4" booster fan - craigslist - $50
Carbon filter - made my own - $20 roughly
T12 2 bulb FL light - lowes - $17
Bulbs -lowes - $20
6 6500k CFL's with individual bulb holders and wires and plugs - lowes - $30 roughly
2 6" clip fans to move air around - lowes - $9 each so $18
Ph tester, thermometer, and the thing you stick in the soil that tell moisture- lowes - $30 roughly
So thats about 400 after tax and what not plus you have to get your soil pots nutes etc...it can be expensive starting out bro but well worth it to watch your babies grow...try pricing stuff out without looking for a "package" good luck man
