I too built a breeding cab. I cant see your pics because i am on the mobile site (fyi). I built a small cab for my box, was originaly powered by 100 watts of CFLs, but quickly learned that more light = more pollen. I was not getting any pollen in the TM treated male flowers. Once I upped the lighting to LED, I had more pollen then I knew what to do with!

I have my cab in the same room as my flowering cab, so no worries with that. Be sure that it is light proof. I installed a PC fan for heat extraction, and to bring in fresh air. (It may be a male, but it still needs fresh air in order to be healthy). I covered tge PC fan with panty hose (to stop any pollen from escaping) and 2 layers of black felt (to stop light leaks). I drilled 4 one inch holes in the floor and used the same method to catch pollen and stop light.

Just be sure when handling your TM trated plant to be gentle and no major/sudden movements that could cause a male flower to pop. DO NOT enter your flower cab or handle your flowering plants until you have changed your shirt and thoroughly wash your hands!

It is alot of fun makin your own beans! Good luck!

Picked up a 200 watt LED on Ebay for only $120! Made a world of difference. It was like the pollen sacks were empty when using the CFLs.

There is a "new" seller, suposedly is afiliated with a plant that makes them. He has em on "buy it now" and auction. He only has like 40 transactions, so I think most are hesitant to buy from him, but I will say I just purchaced me 3rd light from him on Friday (150 watt COB LED for like $112)! I would check him out cause once he has more rep his price will go up.

note: i am in no way spamming or afiliated with the seller, just tryin to pass on a great savings to a fellow grower!

Thats almost the price of an hps lol...im only doing one plant so if I need more.light I guess ill figure it out

Yeah it is, BUT LED's r typically 2-3x the price of hps. I couldnt go hps cause i am already running a 600 hps for flower and a 400 mh for veg. Tryin to keep electricty down!!! Lol

U will still get pollen with low light level, but it will be very little and take much longer. I seriously JUST went thru all of this, and was just trying to help by sharing my experiences

I got a 1k hps for flower and a 400 for autos and veg ...I have a 100 4 bulb t5 u think that be better than four cfls is HO 10000 lumens but they sre 6500 k not 2700k

Yeah, i do think they will be better. Higher lumen output and better coverage. IMO the 6500 might actually benefit you as it will slow down any stretch, thus allowing the plant to get better penetration from your lighting.

135w 7 band ufo with 3w diodes is like 80 bucks with free ship would probably fit perfect in that box
