Become brittle when hanging?

Ok, I harvested 3-4 days ago and they're hanging right now. The condition are dark, 70 degrees, and not that humid.

Is it normal for the buds to be brittle at this time? I know they're supposed to hang for a week thats why im asking.

They are super dry to the touch and brittle. should i put them in the jars right now with like a damp paper towel?

Jar it up Purp, I just dried mine to much to, I made the "crispy critter tread" to get suggestions.
 
I've over dried my buds before, crispy and not how you want them. I just put some lettuce in my sealed jar for a couple days or so until them gain some moisture.
