This is one of my favorite strains! Such a unique smell, looking forward to more pics. I should also mention that this grows like a sativa (long and branchy).
Bluecheese is easy to grow but keep in mind they grow like a Sativa, this can be confirmed in lots of journals, They stretch like crazy but have some of the most unique flavor and smell of any strain I have done so far. I wish I would have cloned mine but I will grow this again in the future.
I will definitely clone. I will likely wait till the 5th or 6th node and take a top and clone it. I did that with white widow and that top is now a mother.
I added nutes for the 1st time yesterday to Big Buddha Blue Cheese. It is taller today and not dead, so I am happy. Thanks for the advice Blackmesa
I was running Barneys Farm Blue Cheese so I'm not totally sure if that's the same thing or not, might be a little different but the descriptions for the creation of the strain are the same. When I was doing my Blue Cheese I was growing 3 plants in a DWC and was having issues with the space so I was going to cut the blue cheese out and sacrifice it for the space. good thing I didn't because it's currently my favorite smoke for day time and night. =)
I dont have a ppm meter. But it is 5.8-6.0 Ph and tap water with 1 tsp of Earth Juice Prime and 4 tsp of Earth Juice Grow in 3 gallons of water.
Lights are 4ft T8 6500K tubes (2 tubes)
2 23w 6500K CFLs
1 2ft T12 7800K tube
1 55w 2700K CFL
Plus it probably has some extra light shining on it from the Bianca plants that are right next to it. They have their own lights as well. Just sharing the 4 footer.
I dont have a good picture, but its simple. Basic bubbler.
5 gallon paint bucket from home depot.
cut a hole in the top for a flower pot (Amazon sells awesome net pots that fit as a lid on a 5 gallon bucket)
Get a fish tank air pump and and air stone. ( I get the double pump and get 2 6 inch air stones) To keep oxygen in the water for the roots.
Then a submersible fish tank water pump. Run a hose from the pump that is inside the bucket up and into the pot to run water down the plant back into the bucket. Continuous circulation.
Fill the pot with hydroton balls.
Put the seedling in the rockwell cube and put it in the hydroton balls.
There are a bunch of DIY DWC threads on here. Super easy stuff.
