What is the best soil to grow "Ice" and "Crystal"?
What is the best lighting system for them?
i use miracle grow potting soil mix under a 1000 mh/hps, so far it's been the best for me.

i prefer to use fox farms ocean forest for all my grows, treats me and my ladies just right..
as far as what lighting to use, that really is up to you and what your expecting from a first grow.. i use hps lighting, a mixture of hps and metal halide, and its pretty much the best lighting that you can use to grow mj with.. some cheaper options are cfl bulbs, which work great for seedlings and mother plants, and work decent for flowering so long as you have enough lumens...

I'd get the idea of best out of your head. For pretty much every soil under the sun, and every lighting technology you can get, there is someone growing great buds with them. Basically to answer your question you have to explain your grow, not just what strains you have.
Other than that you will just get "fox farm" and "hps" responses, and those very well might not be your best bet to use.

Breeding involves pollination. If you grow regs seeds properly they will almost always be better than the bud you smoked, but the potency is just crap. If you find seeds in bags of good bud, those are your keepers. Picture below is from a seed I pulled from some decent bud from a buddy. Read the stickies at the top of the forum sections and these questions will be answered.
