Ok guys I'm wanting to make sure I get this rite I'm about to start my blue pyramid off she has a small root almost ready to go in the ground. I have biobizz all mix as my soil mixed with perlite I've added stones to the bottom of my pot which is about 4" wide I've made sure the ph is good my set up is all alright temp lights and humidity ok. Is there anything else I can do to make sure she is gunna be ok? I've herd flushing the soil through as it may be a little hot and over nuted for her at the begining? What do you guys think let me know

I would skip the rocks/gravel in the bottom of the pot, perlite in the soil is all you need.
In another thread I did some research on this topic and posted this:

The Reality Nearly 100 years ago, soil scientists demonstrated that water does not move easily from layers of finer textured materials to layers of more coarse textured. Since then, similar studies have produced the same results. Additionally, one study found that more moisture was retained in the soil underlain by gravel than that underlain by sand.

Therefore, the coarser the underlying material, the more difficult it is for water to move across the interface. Imagine what happens in a container lined with pot shards! Some of my previous columns have mentioned soil interfaces and their inhibition of water movement. We can see the same phenomenon occurring here: gravitational water will not move from a finely soil texture into a coarser material until the finer soil is saturated.

Since the stated goal for using coarse material in the bottoms of containers is to "keep soil from getting water logged,” it is ironic that adding this material will induce the very state it is intended to prevent.

I am not familiar with Biobizz soil so not sure how hot it is, flushing it for seedlings would be the safe thing to do and won't hurt anything.

Stones at the bottom only cause serious issues trying to pot up in 2 weeks or a months time, avoid, go for 30-50% perlite in your seedling mix, after 2 weeks and you have roots showing out the bottom of the 4 inch pot, pot up again to 30-50% perlite and potting mix, water when too light or insert finger test for damp, keep a small fan in there as plants breathe to and a temp/humidity gauge is a help

I'm not familiar with your dirt and have always worried about nute-burning young seedlings. So I started transplanting into MiracleGrow Potting Mix. It has enough organic material in it that plants don't need feeding for up to 3 months. So I watch their size and don't give nutes in the water until I have plenty of room under the leaves to avoid splashing. No more worries about when/how much to start nutes with seedlings. BigSteve.

for whatever reason all manner of common sense horticulture goes out the window when it comes to weed....
but yeah + 1 for simply making the entire medium drain faster
two thumbs down for hydroton or whatever on the bottom (except for weight ballast...maybe)_
