basic factas help please?

how many plants can one cfl light grow? light cycle is on 17on/7off is that ok? plants are about 4-5 inches under the light i think thats ok?

CFL's should be about 2 inches away from the closest leaf... With just 1 light really no matter of the size (up to 42 watt) you wont really be able to do much more than 1. And for the lighting, if you are currently in veg I would bump it to 18/6 or 20/4.. I personally run 24/0, but some think that the plants need some "rest" time.
