Grown in coco using canna nutrients and a 400w hps. They have been on 18/6 for 12 weeks now and still no sign of them starting to flower. The guy at my local Hydro store advised me switch to 12/12 and gave me some canadian xpress nutrients to use instead. They HAVE to flower eventually right?

Smallest is 27" tallest is 33". The switch to 12/12 seems to have done the trick, bud sites starting to form. What a pisstake. Large yield should be the upside hopefully.

Switch to 12/12 worked. Now have 4 lovely plants now in their 3rd week of flowering.
My friend has just finished barneys pineapple express auto. His plants were kept under a 600w hps on 24 hrs a day and didn't look anything like that and they flowered and finished and tastes great. Are you sure they are barneys auto? But as you were using canna coco nutes they only have one solution for growth and bloom subsequently in flowering get prone to nitrogen overdose as in flowering you need less n and more pk and in growth you need more n and less pk. What I'm getting at is maybe it was the change from canna with high nitrogen(great for veg) to the bloom mix which is great for flowering that triggered it I say this as my friend used dutch pro a+b growth for veg and dutch pro a+b bloom for flowering and as I said his were under 24 hours of light all the time. So is it the change in npk levels that really trigger this auto flowering strain? Very strange.
That's what i ordered. Wether that's what i was sent is debatable.

And my friend only used growth nutes for 1 week like you are meant to do with indoor autos then switched to bloom nutes he had flowers growing in a week. Very small pungent plants.

I just find it very strange that both same plants different technique but both flowered but granted yours are alot bigger than my friends but his flowered In just 6 weeks. And were really potent. I'm smoking it right now as we speak.
