Barney's Farm "TOP DAWG"

Anyone ever smoked, or grown barneys top dawg?? Im growing it out now and it looks pretty decent its almost to week 8 in flower. It has huge buds that smell fruity. So how's the taste?? High? any info would be sweet thanks!

Top Dawg is one of my favourites, that fruity scent sticks to the bud like nothing else. I'm not one for the description on Barney's Farm but myself and a few other lucky people are convinced they smell and taste pineapples. I did three under a 250W and it still stunk the place out. I'm still chasing the taste I got off one small branch 7 weeks into flower - hands down the tastiest joint I've ever had. If you've been a good boy it should have been chopped and cured to this point now...!
Tight, dense structure to the buds - the only drawback is there's a little too much stem in the bud. Another grow done with just the one had much more of a chronic taste but this plant had been heat stressed a few times.

man been a while since i checked this thread. I originally bought top dawg because Barney's advertised it as a member of the Chemdog family. Once it reached full maturity, and i realized that it most certainly wasn't I double checked the genetics and they changed them. From chemdog, to some mexican sativa. I was pretty pissed to say the least. I did get a pineapple tasting pheno, but i'm not after a fruity flavored herb. I did get a good batch of seeds from them though called vanilla kush. Extreme sandalwood/vanilla flavored dense caked up nugs.
