Ok here goes a total noob question. What are these plugs? I mean, I know they are my juice lines, I can take the caps off and put some wire on them, but is there a special housing I can use to connect this orange cord to that goes to the lamp that came with this ballast?
Thanks a million, I dont want to burn my house down!

Thats a Wago, just a fancy wire nut that needs solid wire, you just pop it in. Used more in comercial electrical.

pop it into what?
I need to connect my lamp to this? how? what parts do I need? can I just take that off and buy wire and attach?

well if that is just your power cord, then it all depends on your ballast set up. black with be your hot, white your neutral, and green ground, the orange things at the end are bsically a wirenut, so you will take the corresponding ballast wires and pop them in the Wago. if you post a pic of the ballast it may be easier to help.

the ballast already has a wall plug. the wago is coming out of the ballast case..... I am trying to plug my lamp into the ballast. the lamp just has the normal juice wires........

imple black to black white to whie, from you mogule(socket for the lamp) and your good to go, i believe the wagos are rated up to 15A, but dont try to cram in stranded wire in there, better off getting regular wire nuts.

so just take the wago off and connect the old school way? what are wire nuts? the plastic caps? by the way, thanks a million!
