Anybody watch the presidential address last night?

What a bunch of bullshit!

They want to take our hard earned money to bail out big buisnesses, and buy up foreclosed homes, and resell when the market gets better.

WTF?!?!

I'm urging you to do what it takes to stop this!

We're spending billions each month "rebuilding" iraq, :cuss: now they want to steal our money for profitable enterprises. I'm fucking pissed, I hate this crap. Fuck Bush, and his advisors, I hope they get shot! :cuss: flipoff
 
They need to let these companies fail. PERIOD. They do more damage keeping them afloat than they do letting them go.
 
Yeah, with all the corporate ties, corrupt leaders, and gougeing the consumer, we're in for a real shitstorm.

If you don't pay taxes, like I do, or aren't in a low level income, good for you, because everyone making less than 50k a year is really gonna get it in the ass.

I'm tired of this bullshit dictatorship, or regime, the Bush administration only has a few more months, this is their last "fuck you"

The stimulous package was a bunch of crap, do you know anyone who saved their money?

Everyone spent it, as they were told to do to "stimulate the economy" basically making these crooks rich off our tax dollars.

Shouldn't our tax money be spent for the better of the people, not big corporations?
 
They will fail regardless in my opinion - they already have - start saving everything you can - rough times are ahead more than likely.

That's what a democracy would do. Sadly we're a fascist country where the Needs of the corporation is met before that of the people. People also don't realize that they'll have to pay that stimulus package back. And no...everyone I knew who received a stimulus package spent it within week of getting them. It essentially changed nothing. It was nothing more than BS posturing on behalf of the Bush regime.
 
I don't understand how so many people still trust the government to do what is best for the people, I'm tired of getting ass raped :cuss:

The real kicker with this bail out, to me, was the announcement that all these CEOs and Vps of these companies still get to keep their jobs and annual raises and bonuses. How ridiculous is that? They are going to continue to pay these clowns MILLIONS of dollars a year to support their obvious failures of running a company.
 
No, a true patriot will defend himself from his government if his government becomes more powerful than him.

A patriot's country is an idea, not a tangible thing, and my government has turned into a dictatorship.
 
well without these bailouts, huge banks are going to fail, as they already have been...then the smaller banks that depend on them, the FDIC will be bankrupt and everyone would just be fucked out of therir money...basically our economy will come to a complete stand still.....granted these bailouts are probably going to provide only very temporary relief, and all of this will happen anyway
 
I don't know about you guys, but, to me it is so frustrating. What do you do to promote a change? I feel very frustrated. I am active, sort of. I write and call my local officials when I see my tax dollars wasted. I question them, demand answers. They ALWAYS have an answer, and they make it work for them...Every middle class family in the US is getting screwed. It aint fuckin right.
 
Hey, with these bailouts I read on a different thread that it will cost every household an approx. 6,000.00 FUCK THAT LET THEM FALL
 
I wanna know why everyone is so patriotic - are you aware of what you are supporting? This country only exists out of corruption when you think about it.

Stanley Oneal received a 161 mil "Retirement" package.(Merril Lynch)

Chuck Prince got 40 million (Citigroup)
