I have 3 different plants barely into the process at all im using a very low wattage bulb and they are in a plastic tub for now however the light is very fairly close and i still had a different one sprout before its a 15 watt bulb and i have a blacklight i know it doesnt benefit it much if at all all the plants are in 20 oz pop bottles with tops cut and with miracle grow ive chosen to do the 12/12 cycle without any nutrients unless needed i have it around 65 to 70 degrees if that but its regs and basically just looking for advice on how to go about it if i should change anything a buddy of mine told me it was the way he did his setup for about a year but i need more opinions.
 
look into cfl bulbs they are cheap like 14 us for a 250 watt and good on power and not to hot on th e plant also why 12 / 12 you should be doing 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flowering you also should post some pics its a little easier to tell you what you need
 
Think hes doing 12/12 hole grow.Get some Epson salt for your plants gonna need with the MG.

Yeah im doing 12/12 whole grow i read that it would skip the vegatation and will just make it shorter in heighth and i have the bottles covered as for the root protection and only working with about 3ft high 2ft length maybe 2ft in width as its in a plastic tub

well im not sure about the whole 12/12 grow but when i cant grow them to tall its good bend stress your plants like ties the branches down and dont forget to top it a couple of times so it turns into like a bush with alot of tops tops means more buds
 
So you mean if i tie them down to one side after about a month they would just grow out sideways right so how would there be more tops and also what do you mean by tops like the head of the plants if it were to grow straight up or...
 
Yea just do some LSTning and i prefer Fim over toppin.The top is where you cut 80percent off will produce multi tops. Ive had as many as 6 from a FIM.

I agree with you. I just cant allow myself to do. Got some malawi gold 100% sativa seed breeder said landrace. May veg and get 2-3 nodes fim top throw in flower. Just like veg alil
 
so once its around a 3 weeks to a month cut the top half off? but where exactly the videos i seen just kept pointiing to the different tops and Beech your link didnt work.
 
well its just how you want to most ppl top the very top of the plant then 2 tops will grow then you top the 2 there will 4 and so on
 
So around a month or so i wouldnt want to cut it too soon. and this will make it bush out instead of streching towards the light which i changed its around 500-600 lumens
 
im basically just seeing if i can do this without much complications it is just reg bagseed nothing fancy and everything i find is about like indica strains and other kinds

well topping slows down the height grow of witch ever plant you do i top my clones after they take root and seedlings around 2 weeks old just look at it this way u cut one top it takes time to grow 2 more and the plant get bushier from 1 stem to 2 and so on
if its your first time growing the strain it is unsure how much you can top with out making the plant stress to much just try it out and dont over do it i have a buddy that never topped his plant but once it got up to the light he tied the top down and started ever day bending it a little by little till it was at the floor looked like a horse shoe but what was weird is the branches on the side which now are on the top and grow up so its a lot op little tops ill have to get a pic if he has one for you to understand
