At about the eight week flowering mark for two of my four plants, I'm going to be away from home for about three weeks--won't be able to water for the three weeks; won't be able to perform the tasks necessary for drying/curing. I'm at six weeks now; I just fertilized for the last time--they're small, but they're frosting nicely.
I'm okay with cutting at eight weeks just before I leave--what I get is what I get. But might it be possible to freeze the undryed buds then thaw and dry/cure when I get back? Perhaps I should cut them and just let them hang for the three weeks I'm gone? Perhaps I should let them dry out in the soil in the dark? (I'm not going to feel comfortable running the light unattended for the time I'm away.)
By the way, if you're into sadness and depression, the other two plants are bushy six week old females that will die in the dark with no water.
Any thoughts?
