Bacteriostat.......?

So I was in my kitchen and found some sunbeam humidifier bacteriostat it controls bacteria build up and algae. Now I was wondering would it be safe to use in my reservoir I dont want to kill my plants so if anyone may know please help thank you

Judging that it's no designed for hydroponic application and contains chemicals, I wouldn't take the chance. It's probably
not good for your plants. Just use Physan 20 for algae.
