Back with some new toys.

Ok so I'm helping a few friends set up their room and we got some pretty sweet toys to play with. The problem is I've never actually done hydro myself. I've seen the set--ups in action, understand the general idea, and read through all the instruction manuals with everything we got but what I need is some specifics from some of the veterans out there. So first here's the set up.

Flower Room:
-2x 8 Bucket Euro grower with 40 gallon res drip feed system from GH.
-1x recirculating timer for the hydro's
-1x Digital PH,PPM,TEMP monitor
-3x 1000w HPS with full spectrum bulb (Has the Halide and HPS parts inside it firing at the same time) and vented hoods.
-1x 6inch CAN FAN
-1x Roll of Panda Film
-Full line of Dutch Master GOLD flower with the Liquid light and Penetrator

Veg room:
-1x Single bucket water farm drip fed system for our mother plant also from GH.
-1x 25 site clone machine

-GH nutes for veg and powerclone+hydro guard for the clone machine
-1x 4 foot/4 light T-5

So here are my questions:
1. How often should each of them feed? I can get more recirculating timers for the veg room but I'm most worried about the precision in flower. 5minutes every half an hour or so possibly?

2. From clone machine to the flower table... Will the insters that come with the clone machine work in the Euro grower well enough? How long could I veg in this clone machine before I'd need to transplant to flower?

Anyother advice would be MUCH appreciated. I'm so excited to finally get my hands on a real hydro grow it's ridiculous but I really would like to see the first run through a good success. I know you guys will be of invaluable assistance. Anyways... once this is finished being put together and we get going I'll start a grow journal thread and start feeding you all some pics. :)

Drip systems are intented to stay on constantly to keep the medium saturated with nutrients and to oxygenate the roots. Also, if you are growing in Cocotek cubes, which are great by the way, then they have a hole in the middle to insert your plant and it's prior growing medium from a cloning system. I havent grown anything in rockwool, but I would imagine it is the same.

I thought the way a drip system worked was it saturated the medium then the water was given time to drain out and wick oxygen in for the roots? Someone correct me if that is wrong... Thanks for the advice though, I'm really looking forward to getting this going but I don't want to jump in over my head before I know what's involved you know.

Well now my other question is what medium should
I transplant to? The clone machine we're using has neoprene inserts holding the clones suspended above streams of the solution inside. Once these clones start showing roots and veg out for a week or two we want to flower them, but moving from this kind of medium to the single GH grower for our mother or into the Euro grower what medium should be used? I know I fill the buckets with the hydroton rocks but what is actually supporting the plant? What is the best way to put the plant into these rocks without shocking the poor babies. These are the things I don't really know yet because this is the first time around doing hydro. So I really appreciate all the help.

Well I'm going to bring the camera to town within the next few days. Currently the room is up to 2000w one halide one sodium (post pics of the bulbs, very nice). There are 5 or 6 soil plant's right now about ready to flower they bought from someone, some possibly blueberry, not sure exactly. Anyways, after snatching a clone ore two from the possible blueberries we'll flower these to up the production before the other clones are ready for the hydro table. I'll link to a grow journal once I get some pics.
