Seriously, man, how can you not want to pay for your child? I pay child support, and have done so for the first four years even without a court order. Do you spend a lot of time with your kid? Spend some regular quality time with them, and you'll want to take care of them as much as possible. And if not, fucking pay for your kid anyway, you give us single dads a bad name...

Child support system is bogus and is completely intended to fuck over the father. The only people who don't struggle with forced child support are the rich. Plus, think of all of the taxes and collection fees that are taken out of child support payments, as well as forced garnishment out of your checks.
To the OP: I'd say get prepared to pay child support. Save up money for a lawyer to make sure you don't get fucked in the process, because any man who doesn't lawyer up during this always does. Once you have the money for a lawyer, respectfully let her know that it's over and that there is no chance of anything in the future and it is time to move on. If you do it nicely, whatever your current arrangement is, she might still be okay with. However, if all goes bad, you're ready to defend yourself.
The earlier you talk to a lawyer the better. They can help you further prepare your defense. She could get really angry and try taking custody. Keep that in mind.

thats funny i have a appoitment with child support servies in the morning. the fucked up part about it is that me and my girl are together and i take care of my kids and give her money for her 2 kids that arnet even mine from time to time. theres no way around it. might as well break bread without the courts being involved. peace

No doubt the CS system is fucked up. I paid CS directly to my ex for the first four years before our official divorce, then when I landed a high paying job, she took me to court and initially the judge ordered CS for half my fucking check! Half! But I stuck in there and worked with the court and got it lowered to a more reasonable amount. The main problem I have is that the mom's can spend your money on anything they want, there's absolutely no accountability. I've seen her new family go on nice vacations and purchase cars nicer than mine (sometimes while my kid's sneakers were worn out), while I sometimes struggled. That being said, how can you not want to pay the custodial parent ANYTHING toward your child? The OP didn't state that he is paying anything directly to the mom, and that is the fucked up part imho...

I do pay a good amount directly to the mom but if I go to court then I know they'll take a shit load from my check and I'll be struggling from here on out....I guess I deserved it for fuckin with trife bitches
