baby buds - any chance for potency?

today i was trimming some dying leaves off my plant, which is nearing harvest time, and because its hard to get out of the container i grow in i dont prune it much, so i took this chance to cut off the immature growth and flowers underneath my screen o green, and i have like 20-30 underdeveloped buds, with tiny calyxes and all and i was just wondering if i dry them is there any chance theyll be potent? i had read most of the thc gets packed on in the last couple weeks so im unsure, of course ill dry them and smoke them anyways waste not want not

just a quick update - dried them in a cfl and they are really good, cant wait to try mature cured buds from this plant

Nothing wrong with "popcorn" buds!! Most of mine were covered in trich's, despite their smaller mass. While they may not match your finished product/big buds, they are still some damned good smoke if it's a good plant!!!!

Yup it works, i dropped a piece of 2 x 4 on a plant, only in flower for a week or so... half plant came off
dried it, it worked fine... lil rough to smoke, but it works alright... doesnt alst extremeley long tho

i like to make butter out of my little undevoloped "popcorn nugs" i dont like the taste of the premature bud
