Azomite?

Mixed up a batch of soil the other day and added way too much azomite. Mabye 3 or 4 times the amount. Im wondering if this can lock out other nutrients or cause burn to my plants. Don't want to waste this season away because of a bad batch of soil.

LOL.. about 2.5 lbs to 40-45 gallons of super soil.

That doesn't seem like a big deal at all. It's just rock powders that will slowly break down over time.

That would have to dissolve into solution all at once to affect anything. No worries other than waste. That's the beauty of organics, slow release and very forgiving.

Should be fine, My ONLY concern would be that Azomite has a PH of 8 (i do belive) so you will want to make sure your soil is well composted/cooked

You can't overuse rock dusts, I've seen good results with applications up to 10 cups per cu. ft.

im almost at the end of veg should i start adding to water ?

I mix it into the soil during transplants. A half tablespoon per gallon of soil mix is adequate.

I use a heaping cup per 30 gals and add a heaping cup of glacier rock dust have never seen a problem from it yet and I reuse my soil so it builds up. I also get rock hard buds and I am pretty sure its from the minerals.
