Away for a week soon after harvest. What should I do?

I may have only somewhere between a week and 10 days from when I chop, trim, dry, and put in glass jars for curing, to when I have to go away for a week. I'm worried about screwing up the curing process because I won't be able to check on the jars for a week. What should I do?

I live in a very dry climate, where the harvest always dries too quickly. Very quickly. So quickly in the past that I've had to *add* a humidifier to slow down the process. The problem this time is that I'm short on time. I'd really like a nice cure but realize this week away throws a wrench into things.

So you have up to 10 days from chop until you have to leave?

No problem. You should be able to dry them in time. Once in the jar, add some 62% boveda packs. 1x8 gram pack for a 1 quart jar.

I'm in a very dry area, too. I put my buds in a paper bag. They never hang in open air for me. I also put the bags into an ice chest overnight, every night, in order to even out the moisture levels and futher slow down the dry.
