Aviars Closet Grow - back on my grind

I am starting another grow journal on here because it seems that it was a good thing for me. I started slacking towards the end of my 2nd crop and now im flowering my 3rd. It is showing very badly. Its pretty embarrassing but nonetheless I plan on showing my plants on the regular to RIU. I got spider mites about half way thru the 2nd crop. I used neem oil and thought I got rid of them but right at the end of the 2nd harvest they came back and I wasn't even looking for them until it was too late. I still got a pretty decent yield and only had 1 plant that was too infected with bugs.
So i started the 3rd after leaving room empty for 10 days and cleaning the crap out of it with bleach and water. Now I am in about my 3rd week of flower with 3 plants and a week with 4 others. A couple have mites very bad. I just ordered some NPK Mighty Wash. I also went to the store and got some Natria insecticidal soap and hot shot "No Pest" strips to hang up. I plan on giving my plants a good wash tonight and hanging that strip up.
I am dissapointed in myself for letting things go. So dont hesitate to tell me Im a dumbass it will motivate me keep my shit together. lol :)

In the flower room I have:
2 chupacabras
2 Blue Dream
1 Trainwreck
1 Jack Herer
1 Citrus Super Haze

heres the worst one its the Jack Herer

Heres my veg room with:
3 skunk (regular seeds)
1 Chupacabra
1 Blue Dream
1 seedsman fem freebie
20150530_2059001_zpsbmbt6qvl.jpg

the blue dream I can see has mites already. I am gonna treat this like war. I will not let these fuckers take over

hate to say it, but with that many mites this early on with this much time to go, you should probably just get rid of it.

ya gotta start with a perfectly clean slate.

R u refering to the whole crop or the young Blue Dream?
I tossed the Jack Herer that had white spots on the leaves.
I still have one Trainwreck and two chupacabra fem seeds but this is my last blue dream. :( im sad. but its my fault
I just washed them really good with the insecticide soap, making sure to hit every leaf top and bottom. I hung up the "no pest" strip.

it's generally not an enjoyable experience trying to push on through once spider mites get a foothold. you may not be pleased w what you are left with in six weeks from now. it'll prolly be much worse than you've imagined.

have you used a scope on the underside of the leaves of every plant? they're on everything. guaranteed, now multiplied, those persistent buggers will end up in the subsequent generations unless you nuke everything that's in that room. even going all out like that, you'll still have to do prevention when you get-set-back-up because it's possible that a few mites will still pop up. sorry man, spider mites aren't so ez to exterminate, maybe thee toughest, but it can be done only through strict determination.

if you're gonna attempt to keep anything small, like cuttings or seedlings, it can be done if you quarantine but it's very risky and i wldnt recommend it.

This hurts soo bad. I am throwing away some strains that I was very excited to grow out. not to mention how much i spent on them but oh well. I am left with shitty options and its my fault. I guess i have to cut my losses now. I thought I did enough between the end of the 2nd and putting these into the flower room but they took over quickly. thanks for the help. I got some Avid on its way. I plan on treating the room with that and neem oil. I wont have any plants to put in it for a while anyways so I will probably neem weekly for a month and use the Avid as well. What else should I do?
I did order some Nirvana Blueberry and some cheap Special Kush #1.

So everything in the flower room is gone. Should I just toss the little seedlings that are in the veg room too? I plan on doing preventative spraying from here on out. What else should I do/know to help this not come back. I plan on reading but any tips advice is much appreciated.

well i think i will just scrap the little seedlings. no blue dream for me :(. I will seal up the rooms and put a fogger in each room. I just wanna start over now and do it right.
I just started germinating the last trainwreck and 2 chupacabra seeds along with some regular white widow seeds and some lemon kush seeds.

I am back :) I have fixed my spider mite problem. I have been trying to do a written grow log but that has not gone too well. I have not timed my plants well together. I have had overcrowding issues, It would have been almost perfect but the Chupacabra (trainwreckXstrawberry fire) is showing its true sativa traits. its been flowering for almost 11 weeks and still has a couple it seems. It does have some huge looking buds but they arent that dense feeling. The seedsman Blueberry is doing amazing its about 6 weeks into flower and is dense and stinky. The one lemon kush I have is actually smelling lemony.
I have 3 GG Kush and 2 Royal Kush that just sprouted. as well as a Blueberry and a White widow that my cat dug up and I had to replant. they seem to be doing okay.

I have 3 GG Kush (Afghan Gooey X OG Kush) , 2 Royal Kush (fem) that just broke ground a couple days ago. I also have a Blueberry (fem) and a White Widow (reg) that my cat dug up and are a little stunted but growing again.

Flower Room
I have way to many plants in here because i planned poorly. I am going to get another 600w HPS/MH for the veg room in a couple weeks.
I have 2 Chupacabra, 2 Blueberry, and 1 Lemon Kush that are close to done and 3 more that are about 3 weeks into flowering, they are a Skunk, Royal Kush, and Somango.

I Hope I can grow like that one day.

I did some work today in the veg room. I transplanted the 5 seedlings into 5 gal buckets. I know its seems early but it has worked well for me. I make sure not to overwater them. I watered each plant with 10 oz of water. For soil i used FF ocean forest and large perlite as well as dolomite lime and some epsom salt. I topped them with about 1-2 inches of perlite to hopefully keep the few gnats i have. I also made the removable wall between the veg room and the future cloning area. I am just calling today day 3 for the 5 seedlings, its probably day 3-4 i think. and day 12-14 for the blueberry and widow.
Day 3 (GG/Royal crop) - Day 12 (BB/Widow)

So i am upgrading my veg room to HID either 400w or 600w is the question. the room is about 3.5 ft by 3.5 ft by 7ft . I have a 6" (435 cfm) cooling my 600w now can i connect them and keep them both decently cool? room stays 72-76 now. any help is appreciated

Day 5 (GG Crop) - Day 14 (BB/Widow)
20151101_065141_zpsehvvcmpw.jpg

they are making progress. I am really happy too the Blueberry looks like its gonna make it. I plan on making that a mother plant. I am really impressed with the results so far.

20151101_065316_zpsytratcgt.jpg

The Lemon Kush is looking more and more done by the looks of the hairs but trichomes still not amber at all. not too many white hairs poppin anymore. The last few days the leaves have started dying on it.
Ive turned on my dehumidifier it started raining and RH has been 70+ but ive gotten it down to 40-45 now

good call on lowering rh. i'd consider going in w some pointy scissors and removing the fully spent leaves now, peel open the bud and cut entire petiole out because it's a potential mold threat to entire top. sometimes the hair and trichs won't match up, but if no more flowers are growing (dark hairs) then you're already in the zone and close enough imo.

ya the more i looked at it and took some pics I realized the Lemon Kush is ready enough for my tastes. its got that sweet lemon smell too. ill chop here in the next few days

I just ordered more seeds, I got 6 more seedsman Blueberry and 3 White Widow and the freebie was a cheese fem. im excited I wanna just grow BB and Widow they have the boring names but they've produced way better than the others ive tried and I wanna dial in my room and have 2 strains that grow and flower similar. The sativa strains are gonna have to wait for later.

Day 6 (GG/Kush) Day 15 (BB/Widow)
20151102_180635_zpsdaeodjgw.jpg

I watered the seedlings a little tiny bit today, I also put that last GG Kush seed i had into a solo cup today. It got a little warm today in the room with the lights.

Flower Room
I switched my lights to 10/14 in hopes that it helps the ladies ripen. They are getting close, I can see a few amber trichs on the Blueberry now.

20151104_171933_zps52q1gjda.jpg

they are doing well I watered (dampened) them last night. It got a little warmer and drier today than i would like but i will open my window tomorrow that should help.
The Blueberry and Widow have recovered well from being dug up by my cat.

Flower Room
The Blueberry is looking closer its got about 5% amber. The Chupa is looking the same except one branch looks basically done i need to check trichs. The other ones are filling out nicely
