I've done some reading on autoflowing plants and i would like to try a few after my current grow,one of my questions is can i just use a smaller pot or even say a big slush cup from seed to harvest without having to transplant? second, would a 400hps work well or should i get a few back-up cfls or flouros on the walls?

Yes a smaller pot should be good. And a 400 watt is more than enough ( depending on how many you plan to grow). Some autos I have really enjoyed are Automaria, Low ryder and 60 day wonder... All finish in around 8 weeks and the smoke is pretty decent

you could do 8 - 12 under a 400. The thing about Auto's is that they stay fairly skinny.... 1 main cola an nothing much more. They are perfect for SoG.

Thanks for the advice, I wanted to do a 3 week prepetual harvest can I keep all plants in the same growroom since the photoperiod dosnt change?

smaller pot is bad , bigger pot bigger yield and 400w hps would be nice for the plants

here is just 4 autos under a 400 watt hps they are 35 days old 3 in dwc system 1 in 3 gallon bucket of soil there are i think 6 cfl for side lighting these are not skinny plant they are getting busy ass hell and thick ass nugs just check em out you can check out my journal i have 2 russian rocket fuel wich a fckn awesome plant i love it and will always have some around i have 1 critical + wich i do like very bushy nice nug and 1 super sonic cristal storm my least favorite so far

just check out my grow journal this is my first auto flower grow def not my first grow im not a newbie but to the autos i am but i do like them alot so far ill keep them and my photo period strains seperate but i like em enough to have there own room and space !!!! lol

Nice. I was planning on doing a SOG type of grow. So 8-12, and thats running them 18/6 w/ HPS?
(would you need to get a mh light, or can you do grow from beginning to end w/ HPS?)

HPS is good for all stages of growing more so for the flowering cycle but it works fine for vegging to
