Automatic Trimmers. Anyone Using These Things?

OK, so maybe this isn't the correct forum for this question but I want to get opinions on these things, and I think us outdoor growers have the most use for them.

I used to think trimming was fun, but now it is just a pain the ass if you have anything more then 5lbs... So I have been researching these automatic trimmers and some of them look promising.

Anyone with any experience using them? Which one(s) and what did you think of them. The tabletop one I have been looking at is the TrimPro (about $1000). My dream is to own the Tumbleweed (I think thats what its called, goes for about 12K). That is the big boy that does something like 40lbs wet in an hour. Supposed to be the standard up in the Emerald Triangle.

Thoughts?

youtube it. The urban grower does a video about automated trimmers and he shows you what they can do.

It only sucks if its more then 5lb's? Damn i just cropped 6 oz's and was so tired of trimming after the first couple colas.. Cant imagine going at 5lb's haha.

i agree with phelpsy on this one.. trimming to me gets really old after a few nice sized colas. and how the scissors start to stick together from all the resin coating them makes it harder and harder to trim the longer you go..

Thats why you trim with multiple pairs of scisssors so you can continue. I also only trim a branch at a time so I can quit when I want. I have amassed some pretty long branches this year .

DAM lol just smoke the shit on the trimmers and scrap w/e ur cutting over....AND SMOKE SOME POT...then keep trimming dam it *whip*

Holy shit that is fucking brilliant. I seriously cannot understand how they could charge so much for something so basic, there is nothing special about it at all: Metal, a motor, and a screen

I keep a few razor blades laying around to scrape the resin off the scissors as well.

its also helps if you use multiple pairs of scissors the off set you can leave soaking in rubbing alcahol simply wipe em off before ya use and they r good as new
