Hi, I'm new here, but not so new to growing. I'm doing a journal of my autoflower grow.

There are 2 tents. 4ft x 4ft x 6.5ft. Each tent has 1 x 315w cmh philips daylight lamp 4200k, plus the agro lamp 3100k. Also a 3ft x 3ft tent with 400w sodium lamp.

Strains:

Dutch Passion Automazar (3 germinating now) --- Sweet Seeds Sweet Cheese auto (7 germinating now) --- Sweet seeds Sweet Afghan Delicious (4 on day 3) --- Dinafem Industrial Plant auto (high cbd strain) (1 on day 3)--- Sweet Seeds Fast Bud #2 (4 on day 3) Sweet Seeds Sweet Skunk (4 at 30 days old)

Soil grow. Bio Bizz all mix with added worm castings + added bat guano. I fed the soil 1 week before I started the grow. It was fed, seaweed extract, worm castings, bat guano and molasses. It was bubbled for days to create some soil life.

I will take some pics and add them next few days after the new seeds pop.

Enjoy the journal!

Sweet Seeds Sweet Cheese autoflowers's x 7 in six liter pots, plus a random Sweet skunk auto in re-used soil. Looking a bit pale so may bin that 1 if she don't come round... It loads younger than the rest. Rest are on week 2.

Last is a 4ft by 4ft area, 630w cmh - 1 daylight, 1 agro. Flowering 3 very burnt sweet skunks. I did a bat guano tea test on these. They are looking very badly burnt. It's not the light as that is quite a way away. Got them on a plain water, plain water, molasses rota. They looked this bad 2 weeks ago. They are thickening up a bit since the switch to water and molasses.

Also, 1 Sweet skunk in here alongside 1 automazar.

This area is just more space for when I need it later in the grow, kind of a veg tent, plus flowering random auto's tent.

ummm has anyone cloned off of auto flowers before I have a clone from a skunk #1 that is in like week 2 of bloom and I have noticed that out of the pistol pods there are seeds, not many and the are not growing like male plants what is this I am guessing it is from the stress of fans and transplanting. And would this be feminized seeds since it came from clones that are in full bloom.. please help.......

I reckon they will all be feminised seeds. It's happened to my plants twice before which they grew seeds on, both times got 100% female seeds, no males. Never tried cuttings from an auto though.

I think I will take a cutting from every auto I bloom so I can make seeds of that strain from now on do it once then I will never have to buy seeds again you know
I just have to be carefull from now on

I spend loads on seeds. I didn't even know we could take clones from autoflowers.
I have a sour haze, now a skunk#1, and I just started a og kush clone from an auto so I can stress them and get seeds so I don't have to buy any more

If you have a hermie, the seeds will be junk. That's unstable genetics.

Autos dont clone well because they are on the same timer as the plant they are taken from, it's useless to do it.

Reversing a plant for seeds is a different process. If your plant is herming from stress, it's likely unstable crappy genetics to begin with.

I quit growing photoperiod seeds as I got sick of hermies. Auto's are much better for me. I don't have to worry about light leaks, hermies, or them taking ages. I have grown hundreds of auto's and had just 2 hermie. I grew the seeds and they were all female, none of the seeds showed any signs of growing seeds when they were flowered. Both plants that hermied were the fastest plants in a group. The seeds that came from them were awesome.

I wouldn't waste my time with growing photoperiod seeds that hermied, but auto's, I definitely would grow out any hermie seeds.

Well then you'd be growing out seeds with crappy, unstable genetics.

They were from Sweet Seeds. Sweet Seeds fast bud#2 is as stable as it gets with auto's. I'm growing the same strain now in this journal, different batch though. Nothing wrong with Sweet Seeds genetics. I understand what you're saying with regards to photoperiod strains and I agree with you. However we will have to agree to disagree on the autoflowers.

Time for another update. They are changing so fast!

I have worked out their exact ages. Last update was a bit wrong. I forgot I'd written the ages in the 1st post and lost the paper I wrote their ages on.

So here is my Dinafem Industrial Plant on day 23 from seed. I'm giving this plant her own tent. Kind of training her with a scrog net.

Lamp is 6500k sunmaster metal halide, 2.5ft x 2.5ft area.

Next is same strain on day 16. Put this under a 400w dual spec hps + 96w T5

Sweet Seeds Sweet Skunk in 20 liter square pot on day 16 from seed. Also Dutch Passion Auto Mazar on day 16 too. These pots have had heavy amounts of bat guano and worm castings added on potting up, just for a test.DSCN1884.JPG DSCN1885.JPG

Sweet Seeds Sweet Cheese on day 16 from seed. I have moved these 7 cheese's under the cmh lamps. Complete priority over the last few plants shown.

These are quite bushy, but will stretch up to the light. Cmh lamps are over 4ft away.
