Auto Tangelo Rapido indoor CFL and soil grow

This is my third grow, BF Tangelo Rapido auto.

I've got it in an organic cactus/citrus soil mix under two 65w (actual) CFL bulbs right now, and it's growing really well so far. *knock on wood*

I thought it'd be nice to post progress pics since I couldn't actually find any other threads on this strain here (maybe I didn't search hard enough).

I've been feeding her FF grow big and big bloom so far, making sure I don't overdo it.

looks healthy...what light schedule are you using?

have you considered starting a journal?

I considered starting a journal, but I just don't have time to keep up with lots of entries I may try one out with my next grow.

I've been maintaining a 20/4 light schedule the whole time. I've been watering every 2-3 days with a feeding of either big bloom or tiger bloom every other time. And now since I haven't updated for two weeks, some progress pics:

I also took a pic of my *ahem* messy grow area. I've hung a shower curtain several feet above the ground, and I have the lights hanging from it. I bought 5 sheets of foam poster board which I taped together to reflect the light back to the plant. I draped a couple of sheets of plain poster paper over the top, too. It's shabby but works great I think.


Day 34 (Today)


I gave up on trying to straighten her out, she looks just fine even though she's crooked. Oh well.

Day 45 today. She's still growing strong. The specs say she should be done at around 67-70 days, which still seems so far away. I'm at the impatient stage right now, haha.

Hey man looking really good so far! Thats a pretty nice cola for 45 days she should fatten up quite nicely. How much were you hoping to get? I got impatient around 40-45 days but I'm so happy i'm waiting past 70 days.

Thanks! I am really hoping to get an ounce, but I'm bad at guesstimating. My last grow yielded almost 3/4 oz., so I'd even be happy with that. I guess we'll see.

I flushed today, here are a few pics I took afterward. I'm planning on just watering from here on out.

Alright, so harvest time has come and gone I cut her down on the 16th.

I ended up with 1.1 oz (~31 grams) of dried bud, 12 grams of which I used for an oil run. The yield from that was 2 grams of sticky crumbly deliciousness.



I've been greatly enjoying this strain... it has a really nice rose/citrus/mint flavor off of the smoke. The only thing I can complain about is it gives me the munchies more than any other strain I've had. I haven't had many different strains in the first place though... so that might not even be saying much.
