auto short ride! doing well but just a couple of questions please!

hey guys,

i have a auto short ride 30 days in and started flowering now!

but a couple of things id like help with please,

the first two leaves that sprout at bottom are yellow and crusty now, shall i cut them. heres a photo

and also the lower leaves at bottom of plant seem to be yellowing round the sides, my ph is 6.5 and im giving 2 ml bio grow and 2 ml bio bloom. i have worked up to this from previous 1 ml

other than these issues all new growth is good and plant is very tall, may be due to only using a red spectrum grow lamp, but next time ill get some blue too.

Cut the leaves off the bottom, flush your plant with five gallons of water.

for the bottom leaves you can rip them right off as they are only taking up the plants energy.

looks like it is showing the firsts signs of nute burn lower ph and feed every other watering.

if you are using cfls try putting them closer looks like the plants stretched in search of light.

hey loveweed,
i have had the light within 3 inches whole time, but like said i think its coz i used a red spec only and not dual spec!
shes very tall but seems to be flowering ok and that! does she look ok other than the slight nute burn then!

she look fine except for the slight nute burn and the stretch. i really recommend get more light in there for she will not produce much. but hey if this is your first try you're doing fine aim at keeping her alive. peace

its is my first time and thanks for the help man appreciate it! i have a 150 w cfl! shall i get another one in there then!

Short Riders are resilient. Yours look good. Might want to lay off the nutes for a bit but seriously, don't stress over too much. They will be just fine.

when is the last time you fed her nutes? it looks like it could be some over feeding, have you rescently upped the amount of food your giving her? if not looks like its just doing its thing man...they will start to turn yellow during flower, sucking the nitrogen from the leaves to produce the flowers...if you havnt fed it in a while and it turned yellow feed her

i guess 150 actual watts will do sufficiently ( obviously the more the better ). and no prob dude i'm always happy to help a fellow grower.

cheers guys!
ive i upped last week i was giving 1 ml of each bloom and grow, this week 2 ml of each per litre. also i started last week on quater teaspoon of epsom per litre coz i thought yellow might be mag def!
i noticed pistols about week n half ago thats when i started nutes.
i had to change grow box to bigger one as she grew so tall lol!
