Auto Seeds Purple Cheese

Grew this purple cheese auto the past few months and finally got to chopping it down. The nugs are large and covered in milky trichomes. The smell is very old and musty resembeling the cheese smell while maintaining a fruity smell from the blueberry cross. Very hairy, very dense, and covered in triches. The smoke is great, very sweet and smooth going in, with a good mary jane cheese exhale. Great smell, great bag appeal. Id give it a 9/10.

Here are some picks from harvest! (3 O's dry)

Hey guys, yea sorry, im was in a bit of a rush last time I posted. Knew you guys would want to know my conditions! Growing in the closet, 1000 watt hps, 18/6 light cycle. Flushed and gave 2 days dark with minimal difference (IMO). Kept it on a pretty high nuttage as it ate em up pretty quick. Im my 10 gal hydro I was using full strength tiger bloom running around 900 ppms throughout the life cycle give or take. Started round 600 ~2 weeks ended around 1100 ppms ~60 days. Clipped her on day 62, finished very quickly compared to other auto strains I have grown. The smoke does not resemble the blueberry strains I have smoked although the smell does somewhat, would not recommend if your looking for something very similar to blueberry. Compares more to cheese then blueberry. I have grown berry ryder, original amnesia, trans siberian and multiple other auto strains now and this ranks up there with my original amnesia. This is by far one of the more potent strains I have grown, much stronger than my critical plus I just grew. I would recommend this strain to anyone looking for some high quality buds in a short amount of time. Little maintenance, fairly easy to grow, and yielded about 95 grams or around 3.3 oz. Sorry im all over the place in my response quite mixed up in work right now! Trimming was fairly easy, with very nice trimmings to go in some budder. Actually made some poppyseed pastrys with em, whoa was that a night lol! Thanks for the responses, glad to get some feedback, let me know if ya got more q's!

Thanks man! Love to hear from ya, like I said in the post above, been using tiger bloom most the time, throwing in some bio root, h202, and some miracle grow here in there. Went with the 1000 watt hps the whole time (overkill) haha but yield was terrific! Finally got my drying room operating correctly, dry in 4 days, cured for a week, and wow are the rewards worth it man. Finally getting the hang of this growing stuff, lol, 55% humidity 72 degrees is where its at!

I harvested the Berry Ryder from them and I was impressed with the overall yield and Quality.

nice yield. That looks like some straight cheese alright. man your harvest pics look like some high times advertisement for autos. I always think, "why autos?" I can see why for you.... good work, enjoy.

Thanks for all the replies guys. The high starts out very strong or should I even say loud, bringing with it a sense of deafness with sensory overload. As you breath in that first real hit, you can instantly feel the warmth throughout the body. After settling and finishing a bowl, I usually find myself baffled by the strength on this purple cheese. Very heady at firat and then transistions into a sleeper nearing its finish. Having never grown a "auto seeds"strain, and given the picture on attitude I expected it to be worse. It ended up being one of the better if not best strains I've grown. The buds from the main cola are priceless, wouldn't sell em to Jesus. Hopefully this all makes sense I'm typing on my phone way to early in the morning, I'll update later. Thanks again for all the support

Sounds like a real gem bro. I've grown the Mig-29 from Auto Seeds, and it was the best auto i've ever grown. Lemony, and heady with body in there too. It was some nice smoke for an auto for sure. It's nice to see you around man, it's been a minute, at least since I've seen you. Hope everything is going good. Gotta run brother, take er easy. Peace & Love.

You don't desecrate such superb bud by then putting it in a zip-lock?
Why do zip-locks, regardless of size, go cloudy when used to store pot? Ed Rosenthal wrote that EVERY clip lock bag has a small electrical charge that attracts the resin/ trichomes to the sides of the bag. It made perfect sense. It's not gone "stale" as some like to say to explain loss of potency.
I've always stored my pot in glass jars since reading this info. & my bud stays fresh for ages. I still have several grams of an unknown strain that never failed to arouse a womens passion [couple of drinks first doesn't hurt hehe:)] so I put it aside for my lady friend [I'd love to know which particular cannabinoid it is that inflames a womens desires, I'd be an over-night zillionaire. Hash oil from many years ago had the same effect on two girlfriends. Female viagra?] It's over two years old, no loss of potency that anyone can notice. Smokes as smooth as silk.
A grower friend once gave me a couple of ounces that he'd forgotten, stuffed in a plastic shopping bag, shoved in the back of a shelf, open to the air, that was at least 18months old. It was very dry & the smell was not what it should be, but, it was an excellent high, it was still potent.

I recently purchased a dozen of those food preservative jars with the 'clip-lock' lid, of various sizes for between $3-$5 to store my buds.
Do yourself a huge favour DP, stop desecrating such fine looking bud & get yourself a jar or two:)

Lol. Thanks for the advice pal! I know the picture is in a bag, but I have and always will use jars. Love the taste and quality cure that glass gives. Totally agree with you, for those of you who do not know, DO NOT STORE YOUR SHIT IN PLASTIC BAGS. Unless you wish for you weed to lose flavor, potency and smell. Anyway, everyony has there own techniques and if it works for you great! Il still be using my BALL glass jars:-P

You got to cure in a canning jar. Glass is the only way to go! Great grow and smoke report. You planning anymore grows from Auto seeds, i see they launched some new strains recently.

Well being that I got about 3 Oz from my baby I would assume you could get anywhere from 10-40 oz depending on how you grow them and how experienced you are.

Was considering growing this myself. So you got 3 oz off one plant? That's pretty impressive for an auto. I've always heard they were pretty low yielding. Also, and I'm assuming so based on what you posted as your light cycle, but did they actually auto flower? Sort of a beginner, done a few grows in soil but nothing too fancy and zero experience with autos and just wanted to know if they actually would or if I'd have to kinda egg them on by tweaking the light cycle.

How many plants occupied your 1000w besides that auto?
I don't mean to be rude, but 3oz dried from a 1000w isn't really impressive.
It's a good amount from 1 auto plant, but I'd be dissapointed with less than 1 dried lb from a 1000w.
If you haven't tried a photoperiod plant...it's time!

I've had a WW auto yield over 200g (closer to 8oz) alone under a 600w, that's why I'm curious if it had 1000w to itself.
You'll get double the weight on photoperiod plants with just a minimal veg time.
