Whats up RIU,
I wanted to drop a quick review of Auto seeds Purple Cheese. This strain came in as a highly hyped strain from other smoke reports and it delivered. This was my first experience with any cheese strain, and i'm an instant fan. This strains a Indica lovers dream. So i'll get to it.....
Strain: Purple cheese auto by auto seeds.
Growth: 10/10 Nice hardy plant, sucked up nutes like a champ. I let it go to 75 days because i was shooting for a couch lock stoned type high, but she could of easily be cut a little earlier. This was the quickest finishing auto i've ever grown. She wasn't terribly stinky until later in flowering.
Nutes: Fox farm ocean forest with fox farm trio.
Yield: 7/10 The yield would be the only aspect of this strain which left a little more to be desired. I don't own a scale as i only grow 1-2 plants at a time for personal use, but if i had to guess i'd say it yielded around an ounce or so under a 95 watt LED with an addition 25 watts of clf. Guess it's not terrible, but i've also been growing strains that yield quite a bit more (northern lights, amnesia haze, super skunk).
Bag Appeal: 9/10 Light green super frosty, covered in tricomes with quite a bit of orange hairs in short just beautiful. It's important to note that none of the bud actually purpled at all which is also consistent to every other smoke report i've read. Not really a big deal to me, however i know others may be disappointed (especially when the breeder shows a picture of a purple bud). I'll try to get some pics up for you guys soon. I'm having some problems emailing pictures from my phone.
Smell: 10/110 Very Exotic. It's only been in jars for 1 week now and is already stinky and funky. I'm sure it's only going to get quite a bit better. Again this is my first experience with cheese. The bud smells literally like cheese with slight skunk and fruity undertones. You defiantly get quite a bit more cheese smell than blueberry or purple smell.
Taste: 10/10 Reasonably smooth, all cheese, no real fruity/sweet taste. Very tasty. Reminds me of the first time I smoked sour diesel. Not because they taste similar but because when I first smoked SD the first thing you notice is that the flavor is very distinct unlike other bud i'd ever smoked at the time.
The High 10/10 This is very strong stuff. I smoked a bit with my mother in law while she was in town. It was a bit funny to see her lit up lol. 1 trench out of my MFLB gets my sky high. Very pleasant, soothing, relaxing Indica High. Everything is enhanced. Music is very enjoyable. While chilling on my couch writing this review you initially feel a pleasant tingle from behind your eyes going all the way down to your toes. The buzz eventually locks you to the couch and knocks you out.
The breeder advertises this strain as "high in CBD" and "a strong contender for medical use". I would certainly agree. Great strain for anyone that has insomnia problems or who is looking to relieve pain. This strain will numb you after a decent dose.
Overall i'd give this strain 9/10. I will defiantly be growing this again in the future. Hopefully this smoke report gave some insight to someone who was considering giving it a try. Highly recommended! Good vibes everyone...
